Welcome to the Proverbs 31 Ministry for Singles Women

Thank you for being here and, welcome to the journey we’re starting!

This ministry has been on my heart for several years, but for a long time, I kept pushing it back. I battled with procrastination and feelings of not being good enough, things I know many of us face. But today, I’m stepping out in faith and beginning.

This space exists to help single women grow in their God-given calling and embrace the season of singleness with purpose. It’s not just about waiting for marriage; it’s about preparing mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and even financially, while living fully right now.

I want to be clear: this is not a journey toward perfection. It’s a journey of learning, growing, and becoming day by day. I envision this space as a real community where we can be honest, ask questions, share our struggles, and encourage one another. I’m 32 (soon to be 33), so I know firsthand that waiting isn’t always easy. But one thing I’ve learned is this: while you wait, grow. While you wait, learn. While you wait, prepare.

In this series, we’ll dive into the Proverbs 31 woman, not as a “perfect woman,” but as a model of godly qualities we can grow into. Proverbs 31:10-31 was advice from King Lemuel’s mother to her son, showing him the kind of woman to value. It’s not about having every trait at once; it’s about building character, embracing our strengths, and developing in other areas over time.

And here’s the beautiful part: the Proverbs 31 woman wasn’t doing everything alone. She knew how to delegate and manage well. That means we don’t have to do it all ourselves; we need wisdom, preparation, and a willing heart.

So as we begin, I encourage you not to feel pressured. This is about progress, not perfection. If you can grow deeply in even a few of these traits, that’s already a beautiful testimony of God at work in you.

  1. Beautiful! I look forward to learning from your journey through Proverbs 31.
The waiting period isn’t only in singlehood, we wait upon God in different aspects of our journey through life. I am learning to be patient as I wait on God to train my heart to see joy and triumph even in painful situations.
